Happy Birthday My Honey Bunny!!!

Is it ok to say that when you are 12?  Hmmmm…..something to discuss with you, of course when you are much older.

Jayde turned 12 today, I can’t believe it has been 12 whole years since she was born.  It literally feels like it was yesterday.  How does time fly by so fast.  Makes me really wonder about the whole concept of time.  If 12 years can go by in a blink of an eye, what does that say about our entire existence?  Way too deep for me today!

We will be spending this year’s birthday for Jayde at a water park.  Every birthday since Jayde’s first has been surrounded by water.  Her first birthday was a pool party, and she had a blast.  She didn’t like the cake, but she sure liked the pool.  We have had hotel pool parties, water park parties, parties at the beach and this year was at Olympus Water Resort in Wisconsin Dells.  For anyone that hasn’t been to the Dells, I highly recommend it.  We had a blast!  The water park was huge!  There were water slides (which we didn’t go on), various water rides (which we didn’t go on), indoor and outdoor pools (which we didn’t go in), a lazy river (which we didn’t go in) and a wave pool that had waves that were 9 feet high (we spent the entire time here).  They also had an amusement park with roller costers and crazy go kart tracks (which we had to do).  The wave pool was so much like being in the ocean.  It really made me miss living near the coast.  I would never move back to Jersey again, but missing the coast has given me more of an excuse to go on vacations (often!).

We stayed the evening at a highly over priced hotel (which had a funny smell) and left the following morning.  On our way back home, we stoped at Chipotle!  Why don’t we have one of these in Fargo?  Get rid of Qudoba and Pancheros and bring in a few Chipotles.

Jayde told me over and over again that this was her best birthday yet (which she tells me every year).  I told her next year for her birthday we should go to France to see Zorah and Khelifa.  If we did, I don’t think she would be able to say that each birthday after next year would be the best ever.
